Barcelona's female striker, Asisat Oshoala, has expressed her happiness for winning her fourth Best Player In Africa Award, Diamond Hub 101 reports.

The Super Falcons player showed appreciation to her team-mates and most especially to God for the award.

This has made Barcelona forward become the second player in history to win the CAF African Women’s Player of the Year award four times apart from Perpetua Nkwocha.
The 25-year-old  took to her Twitter account to show gratitude to everyone...

Grateful to be African Women’s Player of the year for the 4th time. Thank God, my Family, Friends, and Fans for the support. Big shoutout to my club, my management, teammates at both national team and club level and of course thanks to CAF for the opportunity.

Asisat Oshoala beat Cameroon’s Ajara Nchout and South Africa’s Thembi Kgatlana to claim the award.

Even after she has gotten her fourth award, the Nigeria international is not ready to rest as she is already preparing to win more trophies and honors by working hard...

4 times baby!!! Sometimes you forget to smell the roses along the way in life. I’m always the type thinking about my next move and never really stop and celebrate the things in between. This is such an amazing accomplishment and I’m happy. But there’s still work to do.

Best of Asisat Oshoala
