Europa League: Youngster Brandon Williams is praised by Man United boss

Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, had positive things to say about 19-year-old Brandon Williams after their Europa League match on Thursday.

The left-back played an important role for the club as they got a penalty that helped them win the match against FK Partizan.

Solskjaer said the youngster would grow to become a very good player in the future...

They did excellently. I thought Jimmy [Garner] grew and grew in the game and, for me, Brandon was the man of the match. He’s been fantastic in the games he’s played. The boy has no fear, he’s as brave as a lion and he got us the win. He's going to be a top, top player. Absolutely excellent. Fantastic attitude. Great defending. Great in the air. Brave. He got us the penalty by his driving with the ball forward. We’ve found a left-back. The atmosphere was excellent. We gave their fans loads of encouragement. Our players had to step up and try to calm the crowd down, but we couldn’t. But Brandon, I didn’t think he put a foot wrong.

The penalty was scored by Anthony Martial and that has placed them at the top of Group L in the UEFA Europa League.
