Euro 2020: "I do not have an obsession for breaking records"...Cristiano Ronaldo

Juventus star, Cristiano Ronaldo, recently stated that he is not obsessed with breaking world records. He made this known as he scored his 700th career goal on Monday in the match pitting Portugal and Ukraine.

The Portuguese international has scored 127 goals in the UEFA Champions League and has been named as the all-time leading goalscorer. He is also the highest goalscorer in his former club, Real Madrid.

With all these goals and the other records he has, he still claims he is not obsessed with all of it...

"Not just anyone can reach this figure. Thank you to my team-mates, colleagues and coaches who have helped me to become the player I am. I am disappointed that we didn't win, but proud of the team. How many records do I have? I don't know. I have to enjoy the moment and thank those who helped me reach this impressive mark. The last time I played at this ground I won the Champions League, a beautiful moment that is in the past. Today we played well but couldn't win. Records come naturally - I don't go looking for them; records are looking for me! Without having an obsession, they happen naturally."

Portugal is currently second in their group as they lost to Ukraine in a match that ended with two goals to one.
