Soccer News: Arsenal Coach Reacts To Xhaka's Rude Talk To Fans

Arsenal coach, Unai Emery, has recently stated that he was not happy with Xhaka's rude talk to the club supporters and says they would have a little talk before he decides whether to remove him as club captain or not.

Arsenal supporters were told to "f*** off" by the club's captain when he was replaced by Bukayo Saka in the second half of their match against Crystal Palace. Both clubs got a point each as the game ended in a  2-2 draw.

The supporters made mocking remarks at the 27-year-old player as he delayed in leaving the pitch when he was substituted.

Emery stated that the Switzerland international acted rudely and he might have to appoint a new captain...

“He was wrong, He was wrong. Now we need to stay calm and speak with him, to speak inside about that reaction. His reaction was wrong in that moment. We are here because we have supporters. We are the workers inside, but we play for them. We need to have a lot of respect from them, through applause and criticism. It’s not the moment to speak about that (if Xhaka will stay as captain). First, I want to speak with him and the club, and we want to stay calm before we speak about that. He was not right to do that.”

What do you think should be done? Should Xhaka still retain the captain band or not?
