EPL: "Brendan Rodgers Should Have Been Everton's Manager"...Danny Murphy

Liverpool's former midfielder, Danny Murphy, has openly stated that it would have been the best option for Everton to get Brendan Rodgers, Leicester's manager, as a coach than Marco Silva.

Everton's coach has been facing a lot of challenges this new season and rumor has it that he might be changed any time from now. Leicester's boss, on the other hand, has helped his club move to the third position in the Premier League table.

Everton has lost four Premier League matches and is currently in the 15th position. According to TalkSport, Murphy talked about how Rodgers was better than Silva...

"I was on a show a while back when the Everton manager's job was up for debate and they were trying to get Silva. I said even then that Rodgers was a better bet than Silva, I did, and I think I'm still correct with that."

He also talked about Rodgers and if he would have accepted to manage Everton...

"Well, he's got a big house in Liverpool. His wife is a Liverpudlian. Although, after managing Liverpool, it would have been difficult. It's still a club on the up, like Leicester, trying to progress and compete. So I thought maybe that would have tempted him away from Celtic. But Everton made their decision to go for Silva. I just thought Rodgers has more experience in the English game. He's tactically more versatile. And, overall, the job he did at Liverpool was very well received by the supporters. He was a game away from winning the league and it's just a thin line in football. If he'd have won the league they'd probably have a statue there and he'd still be in a job."

So, this is a question to the Everton supporters. Who do you prefer? Rodgers or Silva?
