EPL: Bukayo Saka Shines For Arsenal
Arsenal player, Bukayo Saka, had a wonderful night in Germany against Eintracht Frankfurt as he helped Arsenal to a wonderful win with two assists. Saka described the night as a wonderful dream come true.
Saka, who is of Nigerian descent but born in England, created a wonderful assist for Joe Willock and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The 18-year-old player also scored one goal for the club in the first leg of the Europa League.
This is just his fifth appearance for Arsenal's first team. Willock said he was really impressed with how he played and called him an exceptional player.
According to Soccernet, Bukayo Saka had this to say...
It’s a very proud moment and I’m just so happy. It’s a dream come true since I was a kid I’ve always dreamed of scoring for Arsenal’s first team, so now I’ve done that and I just want to do it more and get that feeling many more times.
The young lad who was on the bench in Arsenal's match against Watford talked about what was said in the team's dressing room...
We spoke about it in the changing room after the game as well so it was good to get the win and just get that out of the way and now move on to Sunday.
Saka also had this to say about the match on Thursday...
- "Eden Hazard shouldn't have left Chelsea
- Akanni urges Super Eagles coach to get good players for Brazil clash
- Rio Ferdinand wants Harry Kane to leave Tottenham
We spoke about it before the game. Their fans get behind them a lot and the fans on that end were just making noise the whole way, the whole game long. That’s a big support for them, but we said that we just have to play with our confidence, play our game, stick to our game plan and everything will be fine. We don’t have to let it affect us.
This young player would be hoping for more playtime to enhance his skills.
