SPORTS: WIN FOR ARSENAL, RANGERS AND MAN UNITED IN EUROPA LEAGUE


Arsenal, Manchester United and Rangers FC succeeded in winning the first UEFA Europa League match on Thursday.

The Gunners got wonderful three goals to nothing victory over Frankfurt. Mason Greenwood also did his magic for Manchester United and Feyenoord could not stop Steven Gerrard's side too.

Arsenal's coach, Unai Emery, has this to say after the match...

"Everybody can be happy and continuing in this competition is important, so it was good to get a good win, especially away from home."


17-year-old Mason Greenwood scored the only goal for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer side thereby making him the youngest goalscorer for United in European competition. The overjoyed coach had this to say...
"You could see some of our lads needed games but it's pleasing we got the three points."
Sheyi Ojo scored the only goal for Rangers FC against Feyenoord in the first half on Thursday. Before the match started, a minute's silence was held for former Rangers FC defender, Fernando Ricksen, who died from motor neurone disease at the age of 43.
