SPORT: ANDY ROBERTSON TO MISS LIVERPOOL'S CHAMPIONS LEAGUE OPENER

Andy Robertson could be missing in action for Liverpool in their clash with Napoli in the Champions League. James Milner could take over in defense if he is unable to be fit on time as he missed Monday's training.

Jürgen Klopp had this to say about the Scottish international to Liverpoolfc.com...

"Robbo didn’t train today and we have to see. It is not a major thing, it was more precautionary today, but it is not 100 percent sure he will be available. We will have to test it tomorrow and then we will see.”

The 25-year-old would be joining Divock Origi in the injury list which might lead to big trouble to the manager as they both are vital players.

Liverpool would be looking for a win in their first Champions League game as defending champions.

Napoli's boss, Carlo Ancelotti, has stated that he knows that Liverpool is a strong team but hopes to come out on top as they were victorious against them in their game last season.

He said this in a statement to Football Italia...

“Liverpool have grown because last season gave them so much awareness. On the other hand, we’ve also grown because we’ve added more quality to their squad. It’ll be a hard-fought match as we’ll be facing the best team in Europe. We hope to get the same result as last season."
