Senegal's Lion of Teranga would be going against El Khadra (The Greens) of Algeria in the African Cup of Nations Finals which would be played in Cairo International Stadium by 8pm today.

It has been said by some football analysts that this match is going to be very tough and interesting because these two countries have given it their all in this tournament.
Senegal is number one in the FIFA ranking for Africa while Algeria is second.

Senegal has never won the trophy but Algeria has won it once when they beat Nigeria in the year 1990. The best record for Senegal was when they were the runners up of Cameroon.

Sadio Mane would be in the spotlight today for Senegal as the people of Senegal would be expecting some goals from him. Also, Mahrez would be on the hot seat for Algeria as he is expected to deliver too.

In the third-place match, Nigeria came out victorious with the help of Odion Jude Ighalo who scored the only goal in the match. A lot of people had thought that Nigeria had a chance to win the competition but since they lost to Algeria, this has made a lot of them anxious about which country would lift the trophy today.

Some analysts are saying this match would be in favor of Algeria but some are against this saying that Senegal has the upper hand. This competition would also put Aliou Cisse (Senegal's coach) and Djamel Belmadi (Algeria's coach) in the spotlight.

Riyad Mahrez and Adam Ounas would be trying to outshine Ighalo who is currently the highest goal scorer in the tournament.

The match will kick-off at 8pm UK and Algeria time, at 7pm in Senegal and 9pm in Egypt.
