Algeria succeeds in lifting the African Cup of Nations yesterday in a match that ended with only one goal. This would be the second time Algeria has won the AFCON competition since its first appearance in the year 1968. Their coach Djamel Belmadi was really proud of his team's performance. Baghdad Bounedjah was the hero of that match as he was the one who scored the only goal that led to their victory and also gave Riyad Mahrez, who was the captain, an opportunity to lift the trophy for the first time.
