AFCON: Benin And Senegal Makes It To The Quarter-Finals

Benin succeeded in ending Morocco's race of becoming the champions by coming out victorious in their game through a penalty shootout. Moise Adilehou scored the opening goal for Benin in the second half of the game.

Youssef En Nesyri equalized in the 75th minute for Morocco which sent the match into penalties. In the cause of the match, Adenon, a Benin player, was given shown a red card 3 minutes before stoppage time.

Uganda lost to Senegal in a match that ended one-nil thereby ending their AFCON journey for this year. Liverpool's player, Sadio Mane, scored the winning goal in the match thereby becoming the MVP of the match.

Benin and Uganda have booked their place in the Quarter Finals of the AFCON competition. Who would join them in the quarter-finals train? Nigeria would be going against Cameroon by 5 pm and Egypt would face South Africa by 8 pm.
